Abu Huraira reported: Five are the acts of fitra: one of which is Clipping (cutting) of the nails, WE in DFA have chosen to remember this Sunnah of our Prophet PBUH so we inspect our children on Friday يوم الجمعة (Special day for Muslim) Sahih Muslim:Bk 2, Number 0497:
We encourage parents/guardians to help keep our kids more clean on Thursdays (yaumul alkhamis يوم الخميس) in preparation for Friday(يوم الجمعة) as a holy day for the Muslims (our Inspection day)
We encourage that we clip these nails on Friday so as to earn more reward for Friday cleanliness in preparation for the Jumaat prayer
Parent can delay the clipping of nails till after Magrib on Thursday (yaumul alkhamis يوم الخميس) which is already on Friday ( Remember Night always come before day Islam)
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) has related that, ‘The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) before going to Friday prayer would clip his nails.
